How I Became A Cult Leader

Back in 2012, when the world was supposed to end I came across a project that grabbed my attention, that project was "duality" (stylized as Du∆lity); released under the alias Captain Murphy who is also better known as Flying Lotus. This project had no shortage of not only dark and hypnotic vocals but psychedelic beats that took you to places you never wanted to go.
The overall theme of the project is filled with haunting vocal samples of Marshall Applewhite (founder of the Heaven’s Gate cult) and “How Tos” on becoming a cult leader yourself this is what made the project so interesting to listen to not to mention the beats with productions from MADLIB, TEEBS, Just Blaze, Jeremiah Jae, TNGHT, Alejandro Jodorowsky, and of course Flying Lotus himself all providing an excellent backdrop for this project.
Personally for me, this is one of the few albums I can go through without skipping a track.
